We decided to just stay at our own house and enjoy Christmas with just the 3 of us this year. What a relaxing way to spend the day! We had a fun time opening our stockings and our presents. Kitty enjoyed batting around the used wrapping paper across the tile floor and checking out what we received - all new smells. After presents, we had breakfast. Christmas Eggs (a recipe we found on the internet and will NOT be trying again - yuck!) and Sugared Bacon (another recipe off the internet that we did enjoy). Then we went back into the living room to assemble the presents since John got a new computer desk, Audrey got a new computer chair and I got a new file cabinet for the office. ALL of them had to be assembled!! Had a late lunch of ham and cheese potatoes. And then Christmas movies in the afternoon. Just a very nice, relaxing day to enjoy with our immediate family.
