Marcie's husband passed away early Monday morning and his funeral was today. I was honored to play the organ for the services. Especially thought the words spoken were what we all needed to hear. Below is the obituary.
D. Glen Osborn: Passed away on May 14, 2012 in Spokane Valley, WA. A loving husband and devoted father, Glen is survived by his wife, Marcie Osborn; seven children, Tyler, Jacob, Lindsey, Riley, Derek, Gracie and Siouxmani; parents, David and Roberta Osborn; four brothers, Joe Osborn (Melissa), Reed Osborn (Raelynn), Jared Osborn (Melissa) and Ben Osborn (Celeste); four sisters, Mary Beaumont (Marty), Ruth Anne Conant (Billy), Jenna Osborn and Camille Bowers (Bradley); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Glen was born on July 21, 1973 in Logan, UT and grew up in the Spokane Valley, graduating from University High School in 1991. He was a wonderful son and brother. He excelled in wrestling and placed 2nd in State. He was an Eagle Scout, avid fisherman and enjoyed family activities. He attended BYU-Idaho and SCC. He was a pipefitter and HVAC technician. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the LDS Bowdish Chapel, 40th and Bowdish Rd, Spokane Valley with Bishop Gary Percival conducting. Interment will follow at South Pines Cemetery, Spokane Valley.
