One of the projects at our house this summer is a new roof. But before we could have that installed, we wanted to re-do our eaves & soffits. The old ones were made out of vinyl siding material and the edge of the roof tilted "in". The new ones are made out of wood siding material and the edge of the roof is now "square". It is really starting to look nice!
